MAZE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Works at Maze Presbyterian Church commenced with the coordination of the demolition of the original schoolhouse and obtaining Planning Permission for demolition of existing church building and erection of a new church.
Much time was spent initially on considering all possible options available to increase the size of the sanctuary. Options included extension of existing church, utilization of existing church as a welcome area and demolition of existing church and provision of new church building. Budget costs were prepared for all options prepared.
After presentation of all options to the congregation it was agreed to erect a new building. The new sanctuary seats 350 people and new accommodation also includes a large welcome area with coffee bar, children’s crèche, toilet facilities, AV room and stores.
During the project we coordinated the design team to prepare feasibility studies with associated costs through to production drawings, tender action and work in site.
Close dialogue with client representatives was essential throughout the process.
