ARCHITECTS KNOX AND MARKWELL
SION MILLS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Architects Knox and Markwell have been advising Sion Mills Presbyterian Church for some years now on the maintenance and further development of their facilities.
The work carried out included essential repairs to their existing Grade B1 listed church building, which included re-roofing, re-pointing of walls and tower, refurbishment of rainwater goods and windows, replacement of existing timber floors with new solid insulated type, upgrading of existing heating and lighting, as well as the creation of a new link building to provide a physical connection between the existing church and adjacent stand-alone halls.
This provided a much-needed meet/greet space with an aspect to the Church Square side of the site as well as to the Melmount Road side.
